TODOR
“It’s been much easier from the last meeting. I practiced every day for the first three months, and then, over the last three months, not exactly every day, but I still practiced. Things are much easier in school and when I speak to the teacher”
Dr Vorobiev / Interpreter Jelena: The next participant of our school of those who conquer stuttering is Todor. Todor, I am convinced that the result you achieved can be much better. Tell us in short, how much did you practice from our last meeting, which results you achieved and did it get any easier?
Todor: It’s been much easier from our last meeting. I practiced every day for the first three months, and then, over the last three months, no exactly every day, but I still practiced. Things are much easier in school and when I speak to the teacher, and that’s about it.
Dr Vorobiev / Interpreter Jelena: What are you ready to do to improve your result even further?
Todor: I’m ready to come here again and practice even more than I’m practicing now and to be persistent, until I stop stuttering.
Dr Vorobiev / Interpreter Jelena: You should give a promise, if you are ready to do it, give a promise to everyone in front of the camera that you will improve your result.
Todor: I promise that I will practice and that I will overcome stuttering and I hope that next time I will speak much better.

Dr Vasily Vorobiev faced stuttering in his early childhood. Trauma of a dog bite caused severe speech problems he had to struggle until he was 18. When he realized that standard speech disorder therapies have no effect, he decided to use the knowledge of psychologists and psychiatrists available at the time and its own experience with stuttering to create complex system of exercises today known as the Vorobiev method. This method now helps people from Serbia, Croatia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, Macedonia, Russia, Austria, Switzerland, Israel and USA to overcome speech problems once and for all.
